Soft and light, but with a true personality thanks to the distinctive stitch pattern in the center and the detailed border graced with bobbles - this is Over the Clouds, a crochet shawl designed by EclatDuSoleil.

Worked from the top down, this shawl is easy to adapt in size. The border is worked continuously after the center part, without cutting the yarn.

The pattern contains both written instructions and charts for the center stitch pattern and the border.

To make Over the Clouds, you will need approx 750 m (820 yds) of a laceweight mohair yarn, such as 4 balls of my mohair and silk yarn. You could also try working it in another laceweight yarn or, with a bigger hook in a fingering weight.

Recommended hook size: 3 mm (US C-2 or D-3). Adapt your hook size to your yarn and your personal way of crocheting.
