Naadam - crocheted fingerless mittens
A deliciously soft little something to warm your hands and wrists, crocheted finely but simply: the Naadam fingerless mittens with their contrasting borders and flowers are a pleasure to crochet and to wear.
The wrist is worked in rows and closed with a slip stitch seam. The hand is worked in the round, with a separation between the thumb and the top of the hand. Borders are added directly to thumb and hand. The flower is crocheted separately and sewn on to the hand.
The pattern is entirely written (no charts). The instructions for the wrist are completed by photos.
The pattern includes 3 sizes (S, M and L) to adapt to a large number of hands.
The pattern uses US terminology.
I worked each pair of Naadam using 1 ball of yak down and approx 10 g of laceweight alpaca. I added 2 12 mm wood buttons to decorate the center of the flowers.
Hook: 2 mm or the size needed to get gauge.
Gauge in solid dc's in the roung: 23 dc and 15 rounds = 10 cm (4")
This product contains only the pattern for the design, sold as a downloadable pdf-file.
