Like the wing of a large bird, warm and soft, Circaetus will hug your shoulders. This shawl is almost entirely worked in one loop only, to create texture and drape. Circaetus is a design by Annette Petavy.

Worked from the top down, this shawl is shaped as an elongated triangle.
Size: approx 188 cm (74") wingspan and 76 cm (30") depth at the tip after blocking.

The pattern is written with charts for the openwork stitch pattern and the border.

The shawl in the photos was made with 4 balls of Pascuali Balayage.

Hook: 4 mm (US G-6), or the size needed to get gauge.

Gauge: 14 sts x 10 rows in dc flo = 10 cm (4") after blocking.
