Chubby - crochet bag
This nice little bag is easy to crochet and will follow you everywhere.
The "woven" look is created with simple spike stitches (long single crochets) worked into a row further down in the fabric.
This bag was the very first of my designs to be published in the US magazine Interweave Crochet, Spring issue 2006. In the magazine the design was named "Tiny Tote". The magazine is out of print, so I'm very happy to be able to offer the pattern here.
Yarn: A sturdy cotton yarn at about 85 m [93 yds] per 50 g ball.
I used Debbie Bliss Cotton DK (100% cotton; 85m [93 yds]/50 g), 3 balls of the main colour and 1 ball each of the two contrast colours.
Suggested hook size: 3.5 mm [US E-4].
This product contains only the pattern for the design, sold as a downloadable pdf-file.
