Solveig - crocheted shawlette
This is a "baktus" - a shawlette worked vertically, from one end to another.
EclatDuSoleil offers us her crocheted version, named Solveig, in a textured stitch pattern that will enhance both solid and multicoloured yarns.
Solveig is finished with a ruffled border, adding feminity and style to this versatile accessory.
You can wear Solveig in a thousand ways: as a shawlette, as a scarf, pinned to a ruffled cowl, bandana-style... See where your imagination will go!
The pattern is fully illustrated with step-by-step photos.
The grey shawl in the pictures is worked in a 100% fingering weight merino - you will need approx. 700 m (770 yds). The blue multicoloured version is worked using 3 balls of Mini Mochi.
Suggested hook: 3 mm (US D-3).
This product contains only the pattern for the shawl, available as a downloadable pdf-file.
