Mist is a triangular shawl designed by EclatDuSoleil. Crocheted in a yarn light as air (cobweb) or in a classical laceweight yarn, this shawl will follow you everywhere.

The center of the shawl is worked from the tip and up. The large filet border is then added on the diagonal sides, and a little ruffle gives the shawl a feminine touch. Finally, a simple row of single crochet gives a clean finish to the top edge.

The pattern is very clear, with written instructions and photos, as well as charts for the center and filet border.

The shawl in the pictures was worked in a cobweb yarn in merino and silk. You can use regular laceweight yarn, making sure to adapt your hook size. The final result will in this case be slightly thicker. You will need approximately 1000 m (1100 yds) of yarn.

Recommended hook size: 3 mm (US C-2 or D-3) for a cobweb weight yarn.
