EclatDuSoleil wanted to add a wedding shawl to her design collection - so here comes Such a beautiful bride.  In white linen, this shawl will complement a traditional or more contemporary bride's dress. In another colour linen, it will become a useful summer accessory. And crocheted in a warmer yarn, this shawl will follow you in autumn and winter.

Such a beautiful bride is a semi-circular shawl, crocheted top-down.

The pattern is written, and for the border a diagram is also added. Detail photos work as additional guidance.

EclatDuSoleil crocheted the shawl in the pictures with 150 g linen laceweight (1125 m / 1230 yds) - you might want to add a little to this amount, depending on your way of crocheting. For a winter version, why not try the laceweight alpaca? And for a luxurious shawl in wool and silk, 3 balls of London will be perfect.

Recommended hook size: 3.5 mm (US E-4), or the size needed to obtain gauge or desired effect.

Gauge: 19 dc x 10 rows = 10 cm (4").
