Gradient Merino 700 is a 100% merino wool yarn, spun in Italy.
The yarn is dyed as a gradient, which means that the colour changes are slow and far between. Each colour blends smoothly into the previous and the following ones.
The balls start and end with the same colour - there will be no visible mark when you start working with a new ball.
The part of white yarn that may be present at the beginning and the end of the ball should be discarded - it's just a separation thread required for the dyeing process.
Yardage: 700m (765 yds) / 200 g.
Needles/hook: from 3 mm (US needle size 3, US hook size D) to 4 mm (US needle size 6, US hook size G-6) depending on the project and the desired outcome.
Indicative gauge (knitted in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles): 26 sts x 34 rows = 10 cm (4").
Machine wash on wool cycle possible (I recommend hand washing for your knitted and crocheted items).
Certified by the mill to have the label RWS and to be mulesing-free.
