London is a yarn of superb quality, 50% silk and 50% wool. It's a laceweight yarn at approx 400 m (440 yds) per 50g.

This yarn can be used for all patterns in the shop designed for laceweight yarn. A laceweight yarn theoretically requires 2 - 2.5 mm needles or hook but is often worked on larger needles or hook to obtain, among other things, shawls with magnificent drape.

The London yarn is exclusive to my shop. I have the yarn base dyed to my own specifications.

The yarns Beth Chatto and Covent Garden are dyed on the same yarn base. The three yarns are interchangeable.
