More info

Pomme de Reinette is a jacket designed by Laurence Bertolle for children from 2 to 8 years. The structured stitch patterns, in a single or in three colours, as well as the asymmetrical fronts, make this an entertaining knit. To dress children who are both naughty and nice (the yarn is superwash).

Pomme de Reinette is worked in pieces from the bottom up. The different parts are sewn together. The pattern is written for the sizes 2 (4 - 6 - 8) yrs.

The pattern is in written form, with a chart to complete the written description of the multicoloured stitch pattern.

The jacket in the pictures was knitted in Annette Petavy Design's Merino DK in colours red (col A), light grey (col B) and charcoal (col C).

Yarn amounts for the different sizes:
Size 2 yrs: 3 balls col A, 2 balls col B, 3 balls col C
Size 4 yrs: 3 balls of each of the 3 colours
Size 6 yrs: 4 balls col A, 3 balls col B, 4 balls col C
Size 8 yrs: 5 balls col A, 3 balls col B, 5 balls col C
