Kit for Colourful Hug blanket in Whirl and Whirlette

Make a beautiful summer version of the little Colourful Hug blanket, designed by EclatDuSoleil.

Use a ball of Whirl (instead of the discontinued Mini Mochi in the original) and two balls of Whirlette (instead of the fingering weight merino in the original), to make a light and colourful baby blanket or small afghan.

These yarns are slightly lighter weight than the original ones, so I recommend using a 3 mm hook.

The green/yellow blanket was made with version 2 of the kit, and the orange/violet blanket with version 7. In this second blanket, Chantal also added some Whirl leftovers to the last rounds of the border.

The yarns Whirl and Whirlette are yarns from the Dutch brand Scheepjes, spun from 60% cotton and 40% acrylic.
